A year ago this last weekend I had the privilege of photographing Jenna & Shelley's wedding in the majestic Château de Massillan, set in the beautiful Provencal vineyard countryside, between Orange and Bollène.
2015 took me once again across the four corners of France travelling to Burgundy, Provence, Brittany, Dordogne and Aquitaine, from the splendour of historic castles to the intimacy of family homes.
One of the highlights of the season so far has definitely been Helen and Dan’s wedding at la Madone in the beautiful Provencal hilltop village of Roussillon, famous for its ochre sands
Another wonderful wedding season, blessed with good weather and covering everything from the close intimate family affair with just two dozen people, to the full scale 500-strong celebration.
With well over a decade’s experience in wedding photography, the old cliché still holds true, that no two celebrations are ever alike. It’s really the quality of the people you meet that make for the quality of the pictures in terms of their authenticity and emotional force.
