English wedding in France

As an English photographer, with over 10 years’ experience of living and working in France, I regularly cover English-speaking or dual-nationality weddings on this side of the Channel; my being completely bilingual enables the bride and groom, family and guests to feel at ease in front of the camera which is essential for creating natural-looking and expressive pictures.

I’m finding that more and more of my compatriots are choosing France as the ideal destination to tie the knot in terms of the romantic appeal, climate and choice of fantastic venues. The wedding celebration in France also has the added appeal  of presenting an ideal occasion for the couples’ friends to enjoy an extended few days’ holiday over here.

Such was the case with Freyja and Tony’s marriage last summer, taking place over the long weekend of the Diamond Jubilee in the majestic setting of the Chateau de la Roche Courbon. They were a real treat to photograph and with the beautiful weather, made this a vintage English wedding in France.  A full article with pictures has been featured on the French Wedding Style blog, a professionally run website dedicated to all matters concerned with planning a wedding in France.
